I don't often go to the Friday market these days, but I did a few weeks ago. And I bought these buffalo horns. They said, in a low, commanding tone "Buy me", and I did. Magnificent.

Yeah, imposing, but cruel if real, no?
Not cruel I think, in any sense. Unless you are a vegan, of course, in which case most things are probably cruel. Millions of animals are killed every day for food and we all happily go around wearing all sorts of animal products. I am wearing leather shoes, my watch strap is leather, my phone case is lizard. Apart from anything else, like us, animals are doomed to die. I don't know how this one met its end.

I'll wait for the weather to get a little cooler before I go.
